MEMBERSHIP POLICIES & CLUB RULES

Telluride FUEL designed the Membership Policies ("Policies") and the club rules, including rules listed here and rules posted in clubs ("Rules") to ensure a safer and more enjoyable environment in which to exercise. So, please be thoughtful and observe the Policies and Rules that you, and all members, have agreed to follow. Telluride FUEL, in its sole discretion, may modify the Policies and Rules without notice at any time. It's your responsibility to know and follow the most current Policies and Rules. All approved signs posted in a club or on the premises shall be considered a part of the Policies and Rules of Telluride FUEL.

The following Polices and Rules replace all previous Policies and Rules. If there is any conflict between these Policies and the posted club Rules, these Policies and Rules apply.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY STATEMENT

Telluride FUEL seeks, enrolls and maintains memberships without regard to race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, sexual orientation or age. It is further club policy that no circumstance or conduct undertaken by club personnel shall have the effect of discrimination on the basis of any of the aforementioned classifications. All club members shall have full and equal access to the club facility. All members with disabilities shall be entitled to reasonable accommodations for their physical and mental impairments.

CHECK-IN / DUES

Prior to participating at Telluride FUEL and all membership waivers and liability forms must be signed. Dues are required at the time of services.

GUEST PRIVILEGES

Telluride FUEL encourages you to bring friends, relatives and business associates for a guest visit. A guest must check in at arrival, be at least 18, sign a medical and injury release form and pay a guest fee before using Telluride FUEL facilities (a parent or legal guardian may bring a 16 or 17 year old minor as a guest if the adult member agrees to sign the appropriate release forms). Telluride FUEL may restrict the number of guests and times you may bring guests. You must inform guests about these Policies.

USE OF Telluride FUEL FACILITIES

Availability of Facilities: Telluride FUEL facilities or services, including but not limited to, classes, equipment, may have limited hours, be discontinued altogether at anytime, or be offered on a first come first serve basis.

Telluride FUEL reserves the right to charge a separate participation or reservation fee for any or all of these facilities or services. Use of Telluride FUEL facilities or services are authorized and limited pursuant to your membership agreement.

Conflicts Regarding Use: Please don't linger on the equipment because other members may want to use it. No member should monopolize the equipment or weights. If there is a sign-up list for the use of the equipment and a maximum time limit on its use Telluride FUEL expects all the members to follow them. In short, observe gym etiquette. If there is a conflict over use, let Telluride FUEL management resolve it.

Specialty Classes: Telluride FUEL has specific procedures and Rules and may charge you for special classes. Please visit the webiste or read the posted information for these activities.

Weights & Other Equipment: There are specific Rules posted regarding the use of the weights and other equipment at Telluride FUEL facilities. As a courtesy, please replace the weights on the rack after you use them and wipe off any benches after your use.

No Solicitation: Telluride FUEL facilities are provided for the private use of club members only and are not open to the public. Any solicitation within any club is absolutely forbidden. This includes, for example: solicitation for profit, political purposes or any other reason; use of petitions; distributing or posting leaflets, notices or advertising anywhere in a club facility; or leaving multiple copies of leaflets or other papers in any club.

GENERAL POLICIES FOR MINORS

Minors 12 - 17: May use Telluride FUEL facilities without being accompanied by a parent or guardian if the minor is a member or a guest and their parent or guardian signed the financial guaranty and the membership agreement. Telluride FUEL reserves the right, in its discretion, to require that a parent or guardian accompany a minor.

PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES

No Alcohol, Drugs, or Smoking: You cannot engage in any activity at Telluride FUEL while under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol. Telluride FUEL does not permit smoking, alcohol, or illegal drugs, including steroids, in its facilities.

No Animals: We love animals but not inside Telluride FUEL

No Weapons: No weapons of any kind are permitted at Telluride FUEL.

No Photographic or Video Equipment: No photography, videotaping, filming or audio recording at Telluride FUEL facilities without prior written permission of the management.

Food & Beverages: Telluride FUEL reserves the right to limit the consumption of food or beverages in workout areas.

Personal Training: No member may train another member for compensation. If Telluride FUEL determines that such training occurs at Telluride FUEL facility, the trainer and/or trainee may lose their membership.

Outside Equipment: Telluride FUEL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the club.

DRESS POLICY

Telluride FUEL requires you to wear appropriate clothing and footwear while in its facilities. Here are general guidelines: gym shorts, T-shirts, jogging, aerobic and sweat outfits are all right for exercising or aerobics, but street clothes/shoes and jeans are not.

CONDUCT

While at Telluride FUEL facilities, Telluride FUEL does not permit and will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct. Such conduct includes, without limitation:

Using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting, demeaning language or profanity.

Lewd conduct or any conduct that harasses or is bothersome to members, guests or Telluride FUEL instructors / employees or neighbors.

Being disruptive to classes or other activities in the facility.

Using equipment in other ways than designed to be used.

Dropping or banging weights this means letting the weights or weight stacks drop from any distance.

Using cell phones within the facilities.

Using the bathrooms in ways other than their intended fixture use. No personal grooming.

VIOLATION OF POLICIES OR RULES

If any member or guest violates any of the Policies or Rules, Telluride FUEL will ask that person to stop or leave. A members violation of any of the Policies or Rules may also cause Telluride FUEL, in its sole discretion, to terminate that persons membership and/or other agreements.

STEROID AND SUPPLEMENT WARNING

Use of steroids and/or supplements to increase strength or growth can cause serious health problems. Steroids can keep teenagers from growing to their full height; they can also cause heart disease, stroke, and damage liver function. Men and women using steroids may develop fertility problems, personality changes, and acne. Men can also experience premature balding and development of breast tissue. There are also civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized sale, use, or exchange of anabolic steroids.

WAIVER & RELEASE

You have agreed to purchase a membership at a facility that allows you access to Telluride FUEL. As such, you are aware that there will be no supervision or assistance. You are also aware that if you are injured, become unconscious, suffer a stroke or heart attack, that there will likely be no one to respond to your emergency and this facility has no duty to provide assistance to you. We HIGHLY recommend that you have a workout partner accompany you while at Telluride FUEL, but it is entirely up to you.

Because physical exercise can be strenuous and subject to risk of serious injury, Telluride FUEL urges you to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before using any exercise equipment or participating in any exercise activity. You (each member, guest or participant) agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity, or use any Telluride FUEL amenity on the premises or off premises including the property and/or a sponsored club event, you do so entirely at your own risk. You agree that you are voluntarily participating in the use of this facility and assume all risks of injury, illness, or death. We are also not responsible for any loss of your personal property.

MEMBERSHIP STATUS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL BE APPLIED UNLESS KEY CARD IS RETURNED.

TellurideFUEL is a 24 hour training facility for 18 and older ONLY. Anyone under age accessing the facility will be charged for trespassing.

I understand that TellurideFUEL does not allow outdoor shoes on the gym floor. I agree to carry / leave a clean pair of shoes to workout in or go barefoot.
